The Junior A girls won 1 - 0 in a tough and cagey game against St Gerards. At the beginning of the first half we found a lot joy attacking down the right handside. Unfortunately we couldn''t capitalise on a number of half chances in the oppositions circle. Gerards posed a threat on the ball but we defended well with Hannah Fox making a number of tackles in defence. During the second half we moved the ball extremely well, with one and two touch passing. This created a number of opportunities which we didn''t convert. Within the last 5 minutes of the game we got a short corner, Lucy Fox slapped home a goal from a corner variation. The goal was enough to see us win the game.
